From Kingsport and points south:

Go north on U.S. Route 23, past Gate City.  Turn left at the red light in Duffield and proceed up, and then down, Powell Mountain.  At the base of the mountain, turn right onto State Route 612/Kane Gap Road.  Our rental farmhouse is the first house on the right, about one mile ahead.

From Norton and points north:

Go south on U.S. Route 23, past Big Stone Gap.  Turn right at the red light in Duffield and proceed up, and then down, Powell Mountain.  At the base of the mountain, turn right onto State Route 612/Kane Gap Road.  Our rental farmhouse is the first house on the right, about one mile ahead.

From Cumberland Gap and points west:

Go east on U.S. Route 58, through Jonesville, taking care to stay on primary U.S. Route 58, and not U.S. Alternate Route 58.  Continue past Dot and enter Stickleyville.  After you pass Stickleyville Elementary School, you will take the next left, onto State Route 612/Kane Gap Road.  Our rental farmhouse is the first house on the right, about one mile ahead.
